Katlax Enterprises Pvt Ltd — Industrial Circular Connectors

    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: 22 June 2026

Katlax Enterprises Pvt Ltd ("Katlax", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit katlax.com, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. By using the website you agree to the practices described below.

    1. Who we are

Katlax Enterprises Pvt Ltd is a private limited company incorporated in India, with its registered office at Block #117-119, Santej-Vadsar Road, Santej, Gandhinagar, Gujarat 382721, India. We design and manufacture industrial circular connectors and cable assemblies, and sell to business customers worldwide.

For any privacy-related question or to exercise the rights described in Section 8, write to us at info@katlax.com with the subject line "Privacy Request".

    2. Information we collect

    2.1 Information you give us

When you fill out a form on the website (Quote, Contact, Distributor application, Customisation, Place Order, or Career application), we collect the information you choose to provide. Depending on the form, this can include:

    • Full name
    • Company name
    • Email address
    • Phone number
    • Country and city / region
    • Website URL (distributor application)
    • Job title, industries served, current product lines, revenue range (distributor application)
    • Product or part-number interest, quantity, delivery date
    • Free-text message describing your enquiry
    • Resume / CV file uploaded to the Careers form (PDF or DOCX, up to 5 MB)

Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk on each form. We do not collect payment information through the website — quotes are issued separately and invoicing is handled outside katlax.com.

    2.2 Information we collect automatically

When you visit the website, our servers and analytics tools automatically collect:

    • IP address and approximate geographic location (city / country)
    • Browser type and version, operating system, device type
    • The pages you visit on katlax.com, time spent, and the page you came from
    • Cookies and similar identifiers — see Section 5 for the full cookie list

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

    3. How we use your information

We use the information collected for the following purposes only:

    • To respond to your enquiry. When you submit a form, our sales or engineering team uses the information to reply with a quote, technical answer, or follow-up question.
    • To process applications. Distributor and Career applications are reviewed by our partnerships and HR teams respectively.
    • To improve the website. Aggregated analytics data helps us understand which pages are useful and where visitors get stuck.
    • To prevent abuse and fraud. IP addresses and form metadata help us identify spam and bot submissions.
    • To meet legal obligations. We retain records as required by Indian tax, corporate, and contractual law.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

    4. Where your data is stored and processed

Form submissions are stored in a MySQL database hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the ap-south-1 (Mumbai) region. Resume files are stored in an Amazon S3 bucket in the same region with private access controls — they are not publicly accessible. The website itself is hosted on Vercel and served from Vercel's global content-delivery network.

Form-submission notifications are routed via email to info@katlax.com and selected internal recipients. Email is transmitted using TLS-encrypted SMTP through our mail provider (Zoho Mail).

Personal data may be processed outside India by our service providers (AWS, Vercel, Google for analytics) in the course of providing infrastructure. These providers operate under their own privacy and security commitments — links to their policies are available on request.

    5. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar identifiers to make the website work, to remember your preferences, and to understand how visitors use the site. By default, only essential cookies are set on your first visit. Analytics and marketing cookies are loaded only after you consent via the cookie banner.

    Cookies in use

    • Essential cookies. Necessary for the site to function — e.g. session state, cookie consent state. Cannot be disabled.
    • Analytics cookies. Set by Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to count visitors and understand how the site is used (page views, traffic sources, basic device info). No advertising identifiers are set unless you explicitly consent to marketing cookies.
    • Marketing cookies. Set by Google Ads conversion tracking if you have clicked a Katlax ad. Only loaded with your explicit consent.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the website footer.

    6. How long we keep your data

    • Quote, Contact, Customisation, and Place-Order submissions: Retained for 7 years from the date of submission, in line with Indian commercial-record requirements.
    • Distributor applications: Retained for 3 years after the last contact or until a distribution agreement is signed, whichever is longer.
    • Career applications and resumes: Retained for 12 months after the application date unless you ask us to delete them sooner, or for the duration of your employment if you are hired.
    • Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymised data is retained indefinitely. Identifiable analytics events are retained for 14 months per Google Analytics default.
    • Server logs: Retained for 30 days then automatically purged.

    7. Sharing your data with third parties

We share personal information only with the following categories of recipients, and only to the extent necessary:

    • Service providers. AWS (hosting + storage), Vercel (website hosting), Zoho Mail (email transport), Google (analytics).
    • Internal staff. Authorised Katlax sales, engineering, HR, and partnerships personnel for the purpose of responding to your enquiry or application.
    • Legal authorities. When required by a valid legal order under applicable Indian or foreign law.
    • Business successors. If Katlax merges with or is acquired by another company, personal data may transfer as part of that transaction. You will be notified by email if your data is involved.

    8. Your rights

Depending on where you reside, you may have the following rights over the personal information we hold about you. We honour these rights worldwide regardless of your jurisdiction:

    • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
    • Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information.
    • Deletion — ask us to delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements).
    • Restriction — ask us to stop processing your data while we verify or correct it.
    • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
    • Objection — object to processing for analytics or marketing purposes (you can withdraw consent at any time via the Cookie Settings link).
    • Lodging a complaint — with the Indian Data Protection Board (once operational under the DPDPA 2023), or with your local data-protection authority in the EU.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@katlax.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and a clear description of your request. We respond within 30 days.

    9. Security

We protect your personal information using industry-standard technical and organisational measures:

    • TLS encryption on every page of katlax.com and on the API endpoints that receive form submissions.
    • Database access restricted to specific application users with the minimum required privileges.
    • Resume files stored in private S3 buckets, never publicly accessible.
    • Periodic security reviews of the website and the underlying infrastructure.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant data-protection authority in line with applicable law.

    10. International transfers

As a manufacturer serving customers in 35+ countries, we may transfer your personal information outside your country of residence — primarily to India (where Katlax is headquartered), to AWS data centres in Mumbai (ap-south-1), and to our service providers wherever they operate. We use service providers who provide appropriate safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.

    11. Children's privacy

katlax.com is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact info@katlax.com and we will delete it.

    12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page indicates when the policy was most recently revised. Material changes will be announced via a banner on the website or by email to registered contacts.
